COAST (Studying changes of sea level and water storage for coastal regi-ons in West-Africa, using satellite and terrestrial data sets) has generated specialized knowledge concerning the application of remote-sensing data in the field of hydrology and water.
This workshop is organized in partnership between the University of Bonn, Germany, and the West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) to transfer knowledge generated in the COAST project to African scientists (including PhD students), while providing room for discus-sing and disseminating results of the project.
Specially invited speakers will hold lectures on the topics of the workshop. The COAST workshop is held by Prof. Bernd Diekkrüger, Prof. Jürgen Kusche, Dr. Jérôme Tondoh, Dr. Aymar Bossa and Thomas Poméon, M.Sc.
